Offering AWARENESS THROUGH MOVEMENT® Classes (ATM) and FUNCTIONAL INTEGRATION® Lessons (FI) to enhance pleasure with movement and to restore painless function. ATM CLASSES gently explore how students are doing what they are doing and then expanding the options around that pattern. FI LESSONS are a hands on version of an ATM with greater emphasis on bringing the nervous system into a state of learning through a listening touch. Feldenkrais Method, Awareness Through Movement, Functional Integration are registered service marks of the Feldenkrais Guild.

Lesa holds an associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant and a certificate in Massage Therapy. She recieved her certification in the Feldenkrais Method in 1996. The education of a FELDENKRAIS PRACTITIONER takes eight weeks a year for 4 years.

The FELDENKRAIS METHOD® is a form of Somatic Education based on the work of Moshe Feldenkrais, D.Sc. (1904-1984). Using small simple movements and touch, the FELDENKRAIS METHOD guides the student into new ways of moving in the world. Movement is not about exercise! Movement is about how we engage the world. How we organize ourselves to move in our environment influences our experience in the world and our experiences in the world influence how we organize ourselves.

Awareness Thorugh Movement Classes are open to anyone interested and are offered on Monday evenings at 7pm at the Unity Church of Christianity, 3355 South Jamestown in mid-town Tulsa. The cost is $10.00. Drop-ins are welcome. Private Functional Integration Lessons are by appointment Monday through Friday. Call 918 747-2332 for times and fees.
